3D Guided Implant Placement

A dental implant is a "root" device, usually made of titanium, used in dentistry to support restorations that resemble a tooth or group of teeth to replace missing teeth.

Guided Implant Surgery uses cone beam 3-D imaging to allow for preoperative visualization and accurate treatment planing . This imaging technology also helps Dr. Spiridigloizzi to accurately determine proper placement of the Implant or Implants. Only after this is done can a precise guide be fabricated to transfer the Implant position from the computer to the patient. This guide is used to assure the accurate placement ( location, depth and angle) of the planned Dental Implant(s).

This Technology is both precise and convenient since all of the planning for dental implants is done virtually and in advance.

Accuracy is improved and Complications have been reduced. Implant placement procedure times are now shorter and patient comfort is greatly improved.
