A sealant is a plastic coating that fills in the groves of back teeth. This process is started with cleaning the grooves of the tooth with Air Abrasion. Air Abrasion is basically a mini sand blaster that cleans out the grooves in a comfortable manner.

After the grooves are cleaned, the Sealant is applied.

If Decay is found in the grooves, it is removed and a Resin filling is placed.
