Oral Hygiene Care

Dental Biofilm is a very thin layer of microscopic organisms that covers the tooth. If this Biofilm persists on the tooth it can cause Dental Caries (Cavities) and Periodontal Disease (Gum Disease).

Daily Brushing and Flossing with proper technique will reduce and maintain this biofilm at a low level.
Brushing should be done at least twice a day for 2 minutes minimum. The brush should be held at a 45 degree angle and moved back and forth with a rotation motion.

Flossing should be done at least once a day preferably at night after eating for the day is done. The following video will demonstrate the proper technique of flossing.
